DELICIOUS MEXICAN & SEAFOOD CUISINE

Over 40 years ago, Casablanca introduced a new type of Mexican cuisine to the Venice community. Our menu contains many of the traditional Mexican entrées but also lesser known Mexican cuisine including one of our specialties, the Calamari steak, which is pounded into a filet and served with your choice of sauces

  • 7-10pm Dancing: DJ - Miller Music

Playing a diverse range of music, Miller Music specializes in high-energy sets from world to deep house and everything in between. Working closely with each client, MM is skilled at designing sets that resonate with each individual crowd and shifting the music and beat as the party demands keeping the room jumping.

Surrounded by music throughout his life, he has been influenced by his latin musician grandfather and audiophile father allowing him to draw from a broad knowledge base of musical styles and “of-the-moment” trends.

Admission to the dance portion of the evening is included with your paid ticket to either workshop or the buffet. If you’d like to attend dancing only, click the button below to purchase tickets. $15 per person includes a beverage.

About the Artist

Nadine Allan is a visual artist who focuses on themes of ethnobotany, migration and semiotics. Growing up with a multi-cultural background, she is inspired by the universal power of plants to be our aids in daily life. She experienced the healing powers of herbs through family members who practiced Chinese medicine and learned about self-reliance from her American family who tended edible gardens. At age ten, her grandfather, a botanist, gave her a flower press that he had built. This sparked her very first plant-based entrepreneurship, creating and selling artwork created out of pressed flowers. She has a degree in Fine Arts from UCLA and continues to combine her passions for art and nature. Visit her shop at Feral Botanics.

About the Instructor

Andrew’s cocktails are heavily influenced by the wide variety of hyper-fresh, hyper-local, seasonal organic fruits and herbs sold at our Los Angeles Farmers markets. His is a culinary approach to bartending. Classic cocktails are reimagined and beautifully presented by pairing them with fresh fruits and herbs - a produce-driven approach which reflects the Californian palate.

You can find him behind the bar at Roosterfish on Abbot Kinney. Visit his website at generouspourbartenders.com
