These classes are at least an hour and a half intensive learning experience which will delve into the science behind the art of growing food. Most classes (except for Intro) begin with a lecture and end with a “hands-on” experience in the production beds of our urban “pocket” farm. A digital syllabus accompanies each paid tuition. Tuition is $45 unless otherwise noted.
NOTE:
These are serious, science-based gardening classes designed for gardeners over the age of 16 and are open to all skill levels.
All classes are held “weather permitting”. In the event of rain, the class will be rescheduled and your tuition transferred or refunded.
A minimum of 4 attendees are required to hold the class. If minimum is not met, tuition will be refunded or transferred to the next scheduled class.
All classes are taught by Master Gardener/horticulturist, Geri Miller.

Get Ready with Me! PART 2: Planting your seasonal garden - get your hands dirty with this “hands-on” lab in the garden from soil prep, plant selection, drip irrigation and planting.
